Rap beats to freestyle over, tagged by BPM
Every beat below shows its tempo, because tempo is the thing that decides whether a practice session works. Too fast and you are chasing the bar; too slow and you run out of things to say. Knowing the BPM before you press play saves you the guesswork.
This page is the catalogue, not the player. Every beat here loads inside Rhymeable, where it arrives on a grid with the rhyme words timed to it - which is the part that actually makes practice work. The free ones are free in the app with no account and no email, released under Creative Commons or public domain licences listed per track.
New to this? Start somewhere between 90 and 100 BPM. That range gives you roughly half a second per syllable, which is enough time to think of the next line while you are still saying this one.
Browse by tempo: 90 BPM, 100 BPM, 120 BPM, 140 BPM. By genre: trap, boom bap.
